If you are no stranger to my blog you'll know I'm no stranger to Hackwith Design House. It's been a brand I've been a fan of for years. The fact that it is local to Minnesota and that Lisa Hackwith, the lady behind the brand, is as sweet as she is talented, are just bonuses. In celebration of the launch of the line's web site they are teaming up with a different blogger every week to show off the limited release pieces. I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful tank that has been released on the site today! Immediately upon seeing the tank I knew couldn't restrain myself to only one post about it, so in honor of Hackwith Design House and the Mendevilla Tank I'm going to show the tank in five different ways throughout the week.
Lisa makes clothes that I think are very hard to come by. They some how are simultaneously relaxed and luxe. Because the line is so focused on fabric the items are never too casual. Every garment feels special. (And they really are since Lisa makes less than 25 of each item, only 14 on the Mendevilla Tank!) They seem to always have a way of looking polished. That thing that makes throwing on a tee or a tank an actual outfit.
I never really like to go too casual so these things are perfect for me on days when I do feel a bit lazy. It keeps the most relaxed outfit looking chic but still effortless.
Stay tuned throughout the rest of the week and you'll see how easily this tank can go from a grungy Sunday night with jeans to a night out and everything in between.
Also, be sure to check out the previous pieces Lisa has released this last month! The tonal black Hillside Top shown off by local Minneapolis blogger Kate Arends of Wit & Delight and the beautiful Sandalwood Wrap which you can see on Elise Joseph on her blog Pennyweight.
